Natural and synthetic perfumes differ not only in price – they also have different effects on the body and behavior. Synthetic spirits are capable of influencing only the psycho-emotional state of a person. At the same time, natural perfumes, which include natural essential oils, also have a therapeutic effect on a person. Many perfume lovers know that in the perfumery world there is a division between natural and synthetic perfumes. Indeed, many fashionable and popular fragrances that are recognized in the world as real perfume masterpieces are of a synthetic origin.
Natural oils that make up natural perfumes are released from plants that grown in the natural environment, as a result of which we can talk about the limited availability of this resource. In addition to essential oils, natural perfumes contain floral waxes, absolutes and concretes. The process of creating natural perfumes is accompanied by strict adherence to recipes, proportions, and the sequence of adding essential oils. All this requires a lot of experience and professionalism from the perfumer. But in the end we get a truly unsurpassed smell.
Seychelles is a country of colors and scents. You are being surrounded by scents of flowers, Frangipani, coconut oils, vanilla, nutmegs, Lemon Grass, and of course ocean breath, and the warm Sun feeding tropical flowers in gardens and happy birds sign all year around. It is meant to be for Seychelles to have something for your collection of natural beauty products.
If your skin wants to go green, check out the range of fragrance products on our website.
This beautifully fragrant, refreshing and invigorating mist is perfect for everyday use to revitalize and moisturize your skin and enliven your mood.
These sprays that can perform an exclusively “aromatic” function, working as additional perfumes. On top they are filled with useful oils and other useful components – they moisturize the skin, refresh, nourish and protect from the sun’s rays.
Body mist is an indispensable addition to a cosmetic bag with body care products. Let’s figure out why and for what it is worth buying a new body spray.
The use of body sprays is most important in the summer, when our skin is in maximum contact with the outside world – dust, dirt and other unpleasant substances get on the skin. And the sun and air do their unpleasant job, drying out the skin and clogging the pores.
The right body spray will not only complement your perfumes, adding a pleasant and long-lasting fragrance to the skin, but also protect the skin from the negative effects of the environment and sunlight.
Natural, oil- based fragrances
An Eau de perfume that contains deeper heavier (base) notes will generally last longer on the skin than one composed mainly of lighter notes.
Have you ever wondered why you sneeze when you spray on your favorite fragrance, or why some people’s perfume gives you headache? The health and environmental benefits of using natural and organic perfumes are great:
1. Using natural essential oils rather than synthetics to create a fragrance brings emotional and physical healing properties such as calming, energy-enhancing, relaxing or mood-lifting.
2. Organic perfumes do not contain ingredients grown with chemicals, pesticides or toxins, which can cause skin sensitivity and environmental damage.
3. Synthetic smells derived from petrochemicals can cause migraines, nausea and lung irritation.
4. Non-natural perfumes mask the skin, whereas organic and natural perfumes create an individual, more personal scent on the wearer.
5. Florescentmen’s fragrances and women’s perfume are free from pesticides and chemicals which, when contained in cosmetics, can be absorbed into the skin and the bloodstream.
For those who love and appreciate excellent natural perfumes, Seychelles offers Eau de perfumes and perfumes, face and body sprays and infused coconut oils.
For those who prefer no coconut aroma, but still want to have all benefits of coconut oil, Coconut infused oil is the best option. In a sense, what we apply on our skin becomes part of us. So skincare deserves just as much attention as the foods we eat. Besides being deeply hydrating, coconut oil works as an ideal base with flowers thanks to its abundance of natural beauty benefits. Not only is it antibacterial and anti-fungal, it’s also rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, which helps skin heal and fight inflammation.
Depending on how you use it, lavender’s soothing scent can lull us to sleep or wake us up. Applied to skin it’s an antioxidant booster with anti-aging gifts that may help prevent premature wrinkles and age spots. Also, it’s a beautiful antiseptic and natural anti-inflammatory.

The Sun is a key to all our lives and a sunny day makes us all happier. There are various ways the Sun energy is being used- in technologies, in farming, but, did you know that the sun is also great for making a myriad of photographic prints. Over the years many different approaches have been devised to use the suns power to make prints. This time we will tell you about using sun energy to create something new in fashion and souvenir industry.
Once we have been asked if there is fashion in Seychelles. For which one can say, you would faster find art in Seychelles, than fashion, but the fashion of Seychelles is in every color which surrounds you, every sound and scent which becomes your lifestyle. Artists all of over the world are seeking for the inspiration. Seychelles is one of the places in the world to receive this inspiring motivation.
Today sustainability and recycling becomes one of the important parts of tourism worldwide and Seychelles as well.
Seychelles was at the top African Country to meet Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. Consumers nowadays prefer to use brands which use suppliers and companies that are equally focused on eco-efficiency in their products during all stages of production, from manufacturing to distribution. Seychelles are committed to ensuring the sustainability of its own products by increasing bio-renewable content in our products, improving plant recyclability, and reducing waste.
Seychelles is the country with tropical climate, it is hot in Seychelles all year round, except when the southeast trade winds prevail, there is a dry and slightly cooler season, though the Sun is almost always there.
Seychelles artists focus on using solar energy as well and create amazing art products, which one can find in our shop today- hand printed or as they say sun printed textiles.
Sun printing is based on the cyanotype process, which has been used by artists since its development in the 19th century. Objects that eclipse the sun’s light will show up in white, with the rest of the paper turning a vibrant Prussian Blue. Gradients between these two ends are easy to achieve.
Sun printing is a fascinating way of transferring patterns to a textile. Local artists are using natural items as leaves, branches and other plants to create the design on the fabric.
It definitely makes sense to state that 100 % cotton fabrics are being used to portray the designs. Nowadays artists use various colors, not limited to the blue color only.
After painting your textile (you can choose if it is heavy, medium or light cotton to be used for your scarf or pareo), they put various items on the textile. After this they leave it in the sun to dry, and beautiful motifs will appear on the textile.
Pick any of your overlay items. Everything from leaves and flowers to sticks and is going to fit beautifully. Design a piece of theme and make it exciting!
Carefully put your preferred materials on the fabric. Mind, none of them are wet (or your hands) as they can spot the fabric. Take the fabric outside and lie flat under sunlight. To create such will be difficult on rainy or really overcast days, but don’t worry about a few clouds. The powerful UV rays will still make their work!
Here are just a few samples of how beautiful—and creative—these crafts can be!
Coconut oil is something that you should definitely bring from Seychelles. This is not only a great gift, but also a real treasure. In winter or dry climates. Let’s discover ways to use this miracle with benefit.
Coconut oil is obtained by cold pressing from the dried pulp of a coconut. Coconut oil is enriched with lauric acid (in unrefined oil up to 50%), which enhances the metabolic processes in the body.
How to apply oil to hair? There are several ways and different sources say differently. Here is some brief information:
Each of us has our own type of hair and skin, and even if the scalp is oily, this fat can have 100 different causes within 100 people. Therefore, there are no universal recipes for applying coconut oil on hair for all people, but you can find your own recipes by experiment, using ready-made recipes to begin with and understanding that they can be completely different
First option: Apply coconut oil to hair only, avoiding roots and scalp. For tablespoons, 1-2 tablespoons of oil are enough.
The second option is to rub coconut oil into the scalp, applying it to the hair roots. This mask is not suitable for everyone and can be done infrequently, but it is worth trying – personally, my oily scalp feels great after this, plus, if there is no perm, then Some apply oil to the entire hair. The mask can be applied a couple of hours before shampooing, or left overnight. Do not more than 4 times a month.
Quick hair masks Even a very good and expensive shampoo deprives the hair of shine and “draws out” the structural protein. Coconut oil applied before showering protects hair from the harmful effects of shampoo. Hair is much less damaged during drying and brushing. A quick mask is applied 30-40 minutes before shampooing and can consist of pure coconut oil or a mixture of coconut oil and honey.
Hair loss mask.
Add coconut oil to salt and rub the resulting scrub into the scalp for 2-5 minutes before washing. You can make such a mask no more than 2 times a week for a month, then take a break for a couple of months. Be sure to watch the effect on your scalp – not for everyone. In shampoo or balm. You can also add oil (a few drops per wash or a couple of spoons in a bottle) to shampoo or balm, and it is not advisable to apply the balm to the hair roots, but only to the hair itself, because it clogs the pores.
After washing. Coconut oil simultaneously dries, nourishes and adds shine to the hair, so if you apply it after washing (2-3 drops, avoiding the hair roots), the hair will not appear greasy, and the thinned ends will be very happy. If you pre-trim your hair – trim the split ends, then using coconut oil, they can stay healthy for much longer. Whether this mask is suitable for you should be clear the first time (not suitable for everyone).
Apply a mixture of coconut oil and honey on clean face for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. * The mask is considered antibacterial, and honey expands the pores, so often you should not do this mask.
Pure coconut oil is used to make neck wraps for 20-30 minutes. As a result, the skin of the neck becomes moisturized and smooth.
It is also helpful to make a face and body mask using a mixture of coconut milk and cow’s milk.
Coconut oil can be used to remove makeup and instead of shaving cream ( they say it’s good for sensitive skin :).
Coconut oil for internal use
Scientific research has shown that the lauric acid in coconut oil is ideal for keeping cholesterol levels in the normal range.
Coconut oil has a wide range of useful properties and prescriptions for use in a variety of diseases: it improves digestion, mental activity. Consuming coconut oil internally helps to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, heart and oncological diseases, the body becomes resistant to viral diseases and all kinds of infections, due to the fact that the oil strengthens the immune system and
At the same time reduces the ability of viruses to adapt to antibiotics. Coconut oil promotes the absorption of calcium and magnesium, and is not deposited in the human body as fat, unlike many other oils.
Natural coconut oil is one of the safest and most harmless supplements on the market with no known side effects.

“For me, coconut oil for a couple of years was a real salvation from split ends and brittle hair. One can say a discovery made only in Seychelles. Though thanks to my miracle hairdresser, I almost stopped using it on time after I made long-term styling. The fact is that it is advisable to apply any oil only to healthy hair.”
